EPISODE DESCRIPTION

Craig Greenfield is the author of The Urban Halo,
co-author of Living Mission: the vision and voices of
New Friars and the International Coordinator of Servants to Asia's Urban Poor (Servants) – a fast growing movement into the slums and inner cities of the world (see www.servantsasia.org).

Craig and his wife Nay spent 6 years living in slums in Phnom Penh, Cambodia where they established Project HALO and Big Brothers & Sisters. Since 2006 they have been pioneering a new Servants community in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver, Canada. A place described by the UN as “a 2km stretch of decaying rooming houses, seedy strip bars and shady pawnshops." Their ministry in the Downtown Eastside is with people struggling with addiction and homelessness.
